Mental illness can make you feel like crap but always remember that it takes toughness to fight depression. Dragging yourself from bed every day in the belief that the clouds will eventually clear, takes guts.
It takes integrity to apologise for times when you have shown none. It takes strength of character to blame yourself, not your illness, for hurting those you love. It takes perseverance to struggle with drugs that make you fat, giddy, sleepy or numb, to eventually find those that work.
It takes raw courage to stand your ground when anxiety is telling you to run. It takes wisdom to know you need help. And humility to accept it.
If you ever suffer never be ashamed. You are strong beyond belief.
