Just because you’re in lockdown doesn’t mean you can’t travel. At least, in your mind. So, the next time the sun is shining and the sky is blue, find somewhere to lie down and look up. Really, really, look.
Don’t worry if your mind keeps racing. Just breathe slowly and deeply and it will slow.
When it does, make like a kid and imagine what the clouds remind you of. Lose yourself in the blue. Soak in the sun and relax.
Oh, and be grateful your view isn’t spoiled by aircraft all over the place. Don’t worry, they’ll be back. Just as holidays, dinner parties and laughter will be. But for now, be grateful you have this magnificent view.
And when eventually you do get up, do it slowly – stretch like a cat, have a big yawn, and smile in the knowledge that no one can ever lockdown your mind.
Brilliant again Dave. And more so as a foil for your last post.
