TIME FOR A QUICK MINDFULNESS EXERCISE.

Concentrate on this image for one minute. Really concentrate.

Look closely into the man’s face: his eyes, his hair, his smile.

Take in the wall behind him: the colour, the texture, the cracks.

How does the photo make you feel?

Come on, do it….

Okay, done?

Now this exercise wasn’t designed to turn you into an expert on Indian mendicants. It was designed to rest your mind for a minute. To focus on something other than the next meeting or whose turn it is to pick up the kids.

If you want to get fancy, it’s called ‘Being in the Moment’.
