Don’t worry, this is not a poor-me piece. In fact, it’s anything but.
Yes, I’ve had bipolar 1 nearly my entire adult life, but I also have a successful career, a wife of 35-years, two wonderful daughters, a lovely home, and the occasional overseas holiday.
My point is that it’s possible to suffer from a mental illness but still be successful; to sometimes struggle with life but also enjoy a full one.
Over the course of this year, I’ll be sharing fortnightly posts regarding mental health that you’ll (hopefully) find empathetic, educational and entertaining.
Most of them will take no more than two minutes to read and each will end with a link to a reputable website for further information.
And two minutes a fortnight, is a pretty small investment for better mental health.
Today’s link isn’t all that exciting. It’s just to me. But I promise, they’ll get a lot better than this:

Cheers mate. Actually, it would’ve been a lot more courageous if I’d done it 20 years ago.
